For this project we have to create an entire music marketing company that is starting up. My team got the genre Rock to be the genre of the band that our company will promote. For this project we need to make a presentation and music video to promote our company.
What My group started to focus on was what style we wanted to create for the musicians in our company. as well as the audience that we want to listen to our music. We searched many different Rock bands such as the Beatles, Red hot Chili peppers and other Rock bands to find the direction we wanted to go. We settled on a moody type of style and a color scheme of Black and white with a pop of red, to give off the Rock vibes we are looking to promote. For the audience we knew one of the major ones we wanted to promote to was Rock fans through the age from older teens to adults, and to have music and the music video geared towards them. Another audience we were looking to appeal to is Latino's and are planning to include Spanish as well as the English songs to get a wider audience to listen to the bands music.
To market we found the best way to promote songs in this generation is by promoting a short clip of the song on Tiktok so we are planning on that platform to be one of the major marketing platform with other social media such Instagram and Facebook. As well as thought of a future for the bad to market off their music such as cd to start of with and planning a tour with interviews to get the music out there.
